Navigate to One Time Sends
Click on the campaigns tab in your Poplar account, and from there locate the One Time Sends. In the top right corner, click on the green "New One Time Send" button. Choose which creative piece to send as a sample.
You may also choose the multiple creatives from the drop down. Poplar will automatically give each creative in a given campaign an equal chance of mailing. - 2

Choose Mailing Recipients
On the next screen click the Send Sample button.

-
Select an Address
Populate the form with the address the sample will be sent to.
Depending on mailroom policy, sending to a residential address may be more reliable than sending to an office building. - 4
-
Choose Number of Copies
Choose the amount of samples that will be sent.
If only one address has been added, all copies will be sent to that address. - 5
-
Review & Finalize
Once all information has been ensured, click the green Process Mailing button.
Once the mailing is done processing, you'll be able to see a preview of the mailer along with a delivery date estimate, and live status updates on where it is in the mail lifecycle from production to delivery from the campaign's History.

Upload Adresses
Create a new One-Time-Send and select the creative you wish to use. When prompted, pick Upload Addresses to drag & drop your address file.
Map File Columns
You'll be prompted to map your file columns to the required data for mailing, as well as any custom merge tags (if applicable). If any required data columns are missing, you will not be allowed to proceed to the next step. If any of the value in your data column are empty or improperly formatted, you'll see a warning but will be allowed to move forward.
Uploading a .csv mail file is the ideal choice for launching batched campaigns via a One Time Send and are the only other option, aside from a web trigger setup, for supplying custom merge tag data. - 2

Select Audience
If you've already uploaded an audience file to the Audiences page, you'll see it available for selection if it has finished processing:
Do not select this option if your creative contains custom merge tags. The page Audiences does not store custom merge tag data, so your merge tags will not populate.
